Your first treatment will last for two to four months. You can return to Davis Vision center for additional treatments.
7. What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers are substances that are injected into skin to fill areas where tissue is missing or has been lost. They help to bring back the youthfulness in the face. Some dermal filler’s we use are: Restylane, JUVÉDERM™ Ultra, and JUVÉDERM™ Ultra Plus.
8. How do BOTOX® and Dermal fillers affect the wrinkles when I frown or smile?
When you frown, you form wrinkles in the glabellar region of the face which is above and between the eyes. You also depress the angles of the mouth forming wrinkles there. When you smile, you form wrinkles in the outer sides of the eyes. All of these wrinkles can be improved with BOTOX® and dermal fillers but there is an art to improving them while preserving the natural character of your expressions.

RESTYLANE is a clear Bio-degradable NASHA (Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid) gel which is injected into the skin as a dermal filler.

These are dermal fillers similar to Restylane and also used to bring back the youthfulness in the face. It lasts about the same amount of time as Restylane.

This involves an injection and there is some temporary discomfort as with any injection. It is unusual to have a significant amount of pain.

BOTOX® can give paralysis to other unwanted facial muscles causing double vision, a droopy lid, brow, or smile. This is uncommon and generally temporary. You can have a bruise or discoloration at the injection site which is normally temporary. There can be under or overcorrection of wrinkles. The dermal fillers can generally be dissolved if they cause any irregular or excessive fullness.
